[UPDATE 1: OnePlus 7T Pro]

OnePlus is now rolling out a new OxygenOS update to the OnePlus 7T Pro. It comes with the version OxygenOS 10.0.15 and adds the November 2020 security patch. It also fixed a small probability flashback issue with the Phone app.

OnePlus is starting to push the incremental roll-out of OxygenOS 10.3.6 [India] and 10.0.12 [Global & EU] for OnePlus 7T Pro.

OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro users facing Phone app crashing issue after the latest update

Recently, the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro have started receiving the latest OxygenOS 10.3.6 update. The update bought some new features as well as some system improvements. Meanwhile, this new firmware update is reported to have a crashing problem in the pre-installed Phone app.

Multiple reports on the community forum reveal that OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro users complaining that after the latest update, the Phone app has started crashing every time.

Some OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro owners are not able to access the dialer and are not allowed to call anyone through the Phone app which is really trouble making. Following this, users have tried clearing cache and user data of the Phone app. Moreover wiping cache from boot options didn’t solve the issue.

Since the phone app is a very basic and primary function of any phone and everyone uses it regularly, therefore, the fix for this issue is highly demanded by the users.

OnePlus has acknowledged the various reports and said that they have already started working on fixing the issue and it will be fixed in the next software update. Hope the company will soon roll out a fix with an OTA.
