With the new Privacy Dashboard on OxygenOS 12.1, you can see which apps have accessed your camera, microphone, or location in the last 24 hours so you’re never lost. Additionally, app license management continues to be improved and streamlined.
In addition, with one of the useful tools, you can now allow Android 12 apps to access your approximate location. This allows you to access services related to your current location without having to specify a specific home address in the app.
The most important change is that you can now disable the camera or microphone directly from the notification panel. This setting works system-wide, so even if you allow the app to access the camera, this particular guarantor will revoke the access.
If you see a new record icon indicating that your app is recording you, just swipe a few times to quickly access it before using the Privacy Dashboard to close the offending app entirely. You can stop it to happen.
