The OnePlus Android 12-bases OxygenOS 12.1 Game Dashboard (Game Mode) lets you quickly switch between screens in-game for easy access to tools like silent mode, screen recording, screenshots, Game Mode API, streaming on YouTube Live, and the current FPS rate.

The new OxygenOS 12.1 Game Mode API allows you to enable various game settings such as “Battery Saving” and “Performance” modes. It adjusts your game performance, saves battery when the battery is low and kills everything if you’re near a charger.
Another major OxygenOS 12.1 gaming update is Play While Downloading. When downloading Android games with large file sizes, Android 12 lets you start the game while downloading only part of the app, just like on a game console. This is very impressive and great for people with slow Wi-Fi networks.
