Xiaomi has started pushing the February 2023 security patch for some Xiaomi devices. On the other hand, the company is also seeding its remaining devices with the January 2023 security update and the POCO X3 Pro smartphones are the latest to grab it.
For your information, the January 2023 security update is making its way to the POCO X3 Pro smartphone users living in India and Turkey. Whereas, the other region users have already acquired it, furthermore, the update comes with the MIUI build version –

Coming to the changes, the January 2023 security update didn’t contain any additional features or major changes for your device. Although, it will surely enhance the security and stability of your smartphone and further optimize the overall running of the device.
On the other hand, Xiaomi is also testing the Android 13-based MIUI 14 major software update for smartphone users which could be the next update for the device. The last internal MIUI builds of the update are V14.0.0.3.TJUIDXM, V14.0.0.3.TJUINXM and V14.0.0.1.TJUTRXM.
However, the January 2023 security update is rolling out through the OTA (over the air) method, so it may take some time to get available for every user. In case you don’t want to wait for the update to reach, then you can go with the manual downloading method.
- Visit the Settings of your phone.
- Click on the About phone option.
- Tap on the MIUI version.
- Wait for the phone to check for available updates, once it’s available.
- Tap on Download and Install the update.
