Realme 7i receiving November/December security update along with bug fixes

After providing the November 2020 security patch to several Realme devices, the company has now started sending December 2020 security patch. Realme 7i becomes the first Realme device to receive December 2020 Android security patch, in addition, the same device is also getting November 2020 security update.

The latest update carries a fix to the probabilistic freezing issue of 64M mode. Along with this, the update mentions optimization in some scenarios, after the update, there will be no response on pressing the power button during a call.

The update carries the Realme UI version RMX2103PU_11.A.35. For more information regarding the update, do check the complete changelog below.

Other than the security update, Realme is currently working on the Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 rollout for its eligible devices. For now, Realme 7i is not in the eligible devices list of Realme UI 2.0.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click on Software Updates
  3. Download and Install the latest update, if available

NOTE:

Once again, these are incremental rollouts. They may not be available for these device’s users now but will be soon followed to all after ensuring the stability.
