Realme 2, C1, and X2 getting October/November security patch along with some optimizations and bug fixes

Realme is rolling out new software updates for Realme 2, Realme C1, and Realme X2 smartphones. The update comes with October and November 2020 Android security patch to enhance system security. Also, it brings some improvements and bug fixes.

Realme X2: RMX1992AEX_11.C.14

Realme 2/C1:

The official changelog for both Realme 2 and Realme C1 is the same. Besides October/November security patch the update comes with optimized system performance to improve system stability.

Realme X2:

According to the changelog, the update for Realme X2 comes with optimized logic of the default state of the Brightness lock. It adds a switch for displaying the keyboard function when entering the app drawer.

The latest update fixed some probabilistic issues regarding the screen-off gesture feature in some scenarios and when clicking “More Settings” on the alarm details page after switching off the ringing alarm.

These are incremental rollouts. They may not be available for every Realme 2, C1, and X2 device now but will be soon followed by every user after ensuring stability.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click on Software Update
  3. Download and Install now
