Xiaomi is dispatching the Android 13-based MIUI 14 major software update for more users of Redmi Note 10 5G. However, the new version of the software is already available in various markets including Global, Europe, and more. Therefore, the company is now expanding the reach of the update in Indonesia.
The consumers of the Redmi Note 10 5G smartphone living in Indonesia, will be able to identify the MIUI 14 update through the build version V14.0.4.0.TKSIDXM. Simultaneously, the elements and optimizations of the latest software are included in a massive installation package of around 3.9 gigabytes.
Therefore, after installing this major MIUI 14 update, the Redmi Note 10 5G device will run faster, smoother, and more accurately as compared to the previous version. Because this new iteration of MIUI is more swift and reliable than the MIUI 13 and it too uses less memory, which will result in quick performance.
Moving on, the update will also allow users to taste different flavors that they have undergone never before, such as the ability to block annoying app notifications permanently, erase objects from images, connect devices, on-device privacy, bigger folders, flexible and more intuitive design, back-end optimizations and much more.
Other than this, the changelog of the update also shows an April 2023 Android security patch for optimized security and better reliability of the system. Additionally, the update is currently rolling out through the OTA (over-the-air) procedure in Indonesia. Thus, it may take some time to cover all the eligible units.
How to install the software manually
If you don’t want to wait for the OTA, then proceed with the manual installation method through Settings > About phone > System Update > MIUI Version > Download & Install. But before moving toward the download process make sure your device has a battery level of at least 30% and take a backup of all the important data.
