Xiaomi is dispatching a new MIUI update for the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G devices in Europe, which installs the August 2023 Android security patch. Notably, the improvements of the firmware are already available in various countries and the Chinese tech giant will also not let remaining market users wait for too long.
As per the information, the owners of the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G will be able to determine the August 2023 security patch via the MIUI build version V184.108.40.206.TMOEUXM in Europe. Simultaneously, the fixes and optimizations of the firmware are included in a massive installation package of around 4.5 gigabytes.
It’s a regular monthly patch that aims to protect the device from harmful threats and resolve some common bugs and glitches that may have been discovered in the system, reducing the risk of system crashes and data loss. It will also boost the overall performance of your handy gadget and optime the user experience.
Also, it’s an incremental rollout thus it may take some time to cover all the eligible units. If you do not want to wait for the OTA, then you can check it manually.
How to download update manually
Visit the Settings of your phone. From here click on About phone and tap on the MIUI version. Wait for the phone to check for available updates, once it’s available, tap on Download and Install the update.
