Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro users are receiving a new software update in Europe. The update comes with the latest Android patch released in September 2021 for system security improvements.

September 2021 update adds new fingerprint options to the Lock Screen and optimizes App vault memory usage when device is locked. It also fixes some issues related to ‘Raise to wake” turned off unexpectedly in some cases, lock screen clock when third party themes and super wallpapers were used, Music player controls weren’t displayed in some cases, and more.
The firmware version of this update is V12.5.3.0.RJZEUXM and it is currently releasing for Mi Pilot testers. You can check the updated software version, download link, and changelog of this update.
