The Galaxy A71 is one of Samsung’s best-selling smartphone products launched last year. The device runs One UI 2.5 based on Android 10 out of the box and currently runs One UI 3.1 on top of the Android 11 operating system.
However, this device received the Android 11 update approximately two months ago, which belongs to the quarterly update series, and the company began to release new software updates with updated security patches. The new Galaxy A71 update was initially released in Brazil with the version number A715FXXU4BUE1.
If we use the changelog, this update will install the latest May 2021 security patch to improve system security. At the same time, it has also enhanced the system software and stock functions to obtain a better overall user experience.
Just as a reminder, the Galaxy A71 launched with Android 10, and as per the company’s software upgrade policy, it is eligible for three major Android upgrades. That means you will be getting the One UI 3.5 update (Android 11) later this year, followed by Android 12 next year, and Android 13 in 2023.
