Update 1, January 30 (05:20 ET) ― January 2022 security patch
Samsung released the May 2021 patch for the Galaxy A71 smartphone in Brazil. Instead of expanding this update to more regions, the company started sending new firmware for the device, which includes the latest security patches to date.
According to information, the South Korean technology giant began to release the June 2021 security update for the Galaxy A71 mobile phone in the American territory called Puerto Rico. The version number of this new software is A715FXXS4BUE1, which focuses on system safety improvements.
In addition, it also enhances One UI and inventory applications for a better overall user experience. It should be noted that Samsung will gradually release this new Galaxy A71 update to more markets in the next few days, so if you have not received the June update, please wait for a while.
As you know, Galaxy A71 was released with Android 10 and is eligible for three major Android operating system upgrades. This means you will get the One UI 3.5 update (Android 11) later this year, then Android 12 next year, and Android 13 in 2023.
