Samsung started sending new software updates to the recently released Galaxy A72 smartphone. The latest updated internal version number is A725FXXU1AUD2, and it mainly improves system security by installing the newer Android and One UI patches released in April 2021.
In addition to security improvements, the new update of Galaxy A72 also brings improvements in device stability and bug fixes. At the same time, the changelog shows “new features and/or enhanced features”, so we can expect that it will also bring enhanced features to system applications to provide a better overall user experience.
According to the reports, this update of A72 has a huge package of more than 1GB, and the changelog does not show any major changes or new features. Due to Samsung’s other “copy and paste” update log, it is difficult to talk about the revision of this latest version.
In mid-March 2021, Samsung launched the Galaxy A72 together with the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A52 5G in the second Galaxy Unpacked event. These smartphones are pre-installed with One UI 3.1 based on Android 11. The Galaxy A52 5G is eligible for monthly security patches, while the A72 is scheduled on a quarterly basis.
