Well, here we are talking about eligible Galaxy devices for new software updates. It is worth mentioning that Samsung has multiple market segments like the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note, and these models will undergo new software upgrades every month, every quarter, and every two years.

These new software updates include new CVE improvements, security patches, system stability improvements, additional features, operating system upgrades, single UI versions, and more. Normally, Samsung will provide new security patches for flagship stores every month, while mid-range and budget ones have been quarterly for 3 years since the official release.

Earlier this year, the South Korean tech giant announced that it would now provide four years of regular security updates for Galaxy devices launched in 2019/later. However, there is a problem! In the fourth year of expansion, Samsung will only provide two new security updates and will stop official support.
