Samsung has started rolling out the latest security update for the Galaxy Note 10 series. It is for the international unlocked variants. It comes with the July 2020 security patch. It is currently rolling out in European countries including Germany.

The software versions of this update are N970FXXS5CTFA and N975FXXS5CTFA for the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ respectively. There are no other changes or additional features are included in this update.

To update the version on your device, you will need to have a minimum battery charge of 20%. You may be prompted to update when it’s available, otherwise, system updates can be done over a Wi-Fi connection or with the Software Upgrade Assistant.

To manually check for updates, navigate to Settings > System update. If your system is up-to-date, you don’t need to do anything further. Otherwise, tap Download and install to update your phone.

June 22, 2020: T-Mobile, Sprint, and AT&T sending a new update with improved camera, WiFi connectivity, and touch screen to the Galaxy Note 10

The carrier-locked Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ units are now receiving a new software update in the US. The Galaxy Note 10 series users on US network carriers, T-Mobile, Sprint, and AT&T, are getting this new update. The international users have already received this update 2 weeks ago.

The latest update improved the stability of the camera and Wi-Fi connectivity. It also improved the Touch Screen stability, it will probably fix the touch-responsive issues reported by some users. The update also adds the June 2020 security patch. The software version of this update is N970USQU3CTE7 and N975USQU3CTE7 for the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ respectively.

Separately, the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G also gets a new software update, only brings the June 2020 security patch, no improvements. It is available for the T-Mobile units and has software version N976USQS2BTE3.

June 05, 2020: A new software update with June 2020 security patch rolling out to the Exynos Galaxy Note 10

Samsung is now rolling out a new software update for the Exynos-powered Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ in the European countries, it should soon be available in other markets. The latest software update brings the June 2020 security patch. It also adds a new quick toggle to the notification shade. The software version of this update is N970FXXU4CTE9 and N975FXXU4CTE9 for the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ respectively.

“After installing the update, you will find a toggle for the Call & text on other devices feature when you pull down the notification shade twice. This feature lets you take calls and send/receive text messages on a Galaxy tablet logged in to the same Samsung account as your smartphone, which is in turn connected to your carrier network. With the quick toggle, you can now disable the feature when you don’t need it and enable it when you do, without needing to go into the phone’s Settings app.”

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ are now receiving the June 2020 security patch in the US. It is available for unlocked devices. It should soon be available for the locked Galaxy Note 10 devices in the country and other regions.

There’s no mentioning about any other features in the changelog except the latest security patch. The software version is N970U1UES3CTE5 and N975U1UES3CTE5 for the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ respectively.
