Samsung Galaxy Note 9 March 2021 security update rolling out in the US

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is one of the older flagship phones of the Note lineup that comes with a bunch of premium features. The device has been running on the Android 10 based One UI 2.5 version. While the handset is now no longer eligible for the major upgrade but the company is still taking its care with the regular security patches.

Samsung is currently sending the latest One UI 3.1 version for its Galaxy models and simultaneously the company is also expanding March 2021 security improvements to more of its smartphones.

As per the information, the Galaxy Note 9 users have already received March 2021 security update and several regions and now these security improvements are expanding for the users in the United States.

The latest firmware update for the Galaxy Note 9 can be identified with the software version N960U1UES8FUB1. This update is just limited to security optimization and there is no new feature or new change introduced via this update.

It a staged rollout so it may take some time to cover every device. Meanwhile, you can also check for the updates manually through Settings > Software updates > then click on Download and install.
