Samsung Galaxy S10 gets June 2021 security update

Although Galaxy S10 series smartphone users began to speculate about the arrival of the One UI 3.5 update, Samsung has not forgotten to send them monthly security updates. After updating various models, the company has now selected its most popular flagship series for the latest security patch updates.

According to the latest news, Samsung Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+ will start receiving security patches in June 2021. Determined by version number FUE6, this update is currently being launched in Europe (mainly in Poland) and is applicable to some Galaxy S10 models.

It is worth mentioning that the company is expected to issue a security bulletin for June 2021 soon. At this time, we are unable to confirm the specific fixes and changes that come with this new security patch, but we have confirmed that it fixes multiple CVEs for Samsung and native Android.

Prior to this month, the South Korean tech giant had already started sending security patches for June 2021 to various Galaxy devices. Galaxy S21 took the lead, followed by Galaxy Z Flip 5G, the Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy A50, Galaxy A8 (2018), the Galaxy A52 5G, the Galaxy Note 9, and Galaxy A71 mobile phones.

Samsung’s Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+ are eligible for three years of Android operating system upgrade support. One UI 4.x based on Android 12 will be the last major operating system upgrade for these phones and maybe launched early next year. At the same time, you will also get the One UI 3.5 update based on Android 11 later this year.
