July 14, 2020: T-Mobile rolling out June 2020 security patch to the Galaxy S10 series

T-Mobile is now rolling out the June 2020 security patch to the Galaxy S10 series in the US. The software versions are G970USQU3DTE8, G973USQU3DTE8, and G975USQU3DTE8 for the Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+ respectively. The size of this update is nearly 500MB.

According to the changelog, the latest update also includes the Wi-Fi Calling improvements.

To update the version on your device, you will need to have a minimum battery charge of 20%. You may be prompted to update when it’s available, otherwise, system updates can be done over a Wi-Fi connection or with the Software Upgrade Assistant.

To manually check for updates, navigate to Settings > System update. If your system is up-to-date, you don’t need to do anything further. Otherwise, tap Download and install to update your phone.

Samsung recently released the July 2020 security patch and then suddenly pulled the latest security patch for its Galaxy S10 series. The security patch had initially begun rolling out in more than 20 countries. There’s no word yet on why the rollout was stopped or when it’ll resume again (via Sammobile).

Samsung is now rolling out a new software update to the Galaxy S10 series. The latest update comes with the July 2020 security patch. This update is currently rolling out in European countries but should soon be available to other regions.

The software version of this update is G970FXXS7CTF3, G973FXXS7CTF3, and G975FXXS7CTF3 for the Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+ respectively.

June 03, 2020: International Galaxy S10 series getting the June 2020 security patch

After rolling out the June 2020 security patch to the unlocked Galaxy S10 units in the US, the company has now started sending the latest security patch to the international Exynos-powered Galaxy S10 series.

The software version of this update is G970FXXS6CTE6, G970FXXS6CTE6, and G970FXXS6CTE6 for the Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+ respectively. The size of this update is nearly 150MB. You can read the details of the Samsung June 2020 security patch here.

June 01, 2020: June 2020 security patch is rolling out to the unlocked Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+ devices in the US

Samsung Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+ are now receiving the June 2020 security patch in the US. It is available for unlocked devices. It should soon be available for the locked Galaxy S10 devices in the country and other regions.

There’s no mentioning about any other features in the changelog except the latest security patch. The software version is G970U1UES3DTDD, G973U1UES3DTDD, and G975U1UES3DTDD for the Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+ respectively.
