Samsung has started rolling out the improvements of the latest April 2023 firmware for Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra users in the US. Meanwhile, the update was previously released for both 5G and LTE variants in other countries including Europe, Brazil, and more.
As per the information, the users of the unlocked Samsung Galaxy S20 series living in the US will be able to identify the latest April 2023 firmware with the One UI build version mentioned below.
- Galaxy S20 – G981U1UES4HWCB
- Galaxy S20+ – G986U1UES4HWCB
- Galaxy S20 Ultra – G988U1UES4HWCB
It’s a regular monthly patch, which will enhance the overall security and stability of your Galaxy S20 devices and boost its performance for a seamless user experience. In addition, the update may also resolve some common bugs and issues in the system to protect the device from harmful threats.
Moving on, they may also upgrade some stock applications for better functioning and smooth running. Therefore, the users may also notice some more advancements after upgrading their device to the latest version. It might also bring some improvements to the Camera and Gallery apps for a more advanced photography experience.

How to download
To download the update manually visit the Settings of your phone, scroll down, and tap on the Software update menu. Here you will see the Download & Install option, press that button, and let the system fetch the latest version for you. Once done, follow the on-screen prompts.
