Samsung Galaxy S21 April 2023 security update reaches South Korea

Samsung Galaxy S21 devices are now receiving the April 2023 Android security update in South Korea. Therefore, the Korean tech maker has previously rolled out the optimizations and offerings of the latest patch in various markets including Europe, the US, and more.

As per the information, the users of Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra in Korea will be able to identify the latest April 2023 firmware update via the One UI build version G991NKSU4EWCI, G996NKSU4EWCI, and G998NKSU4EWCI respectively.

The April 2023 update will enhance the security and stability of your Galaxy S21 devices, in order to provide a seamless performance. Meanwhile, it too obtains fixes for some common vulnerabilities and exposures including 5 Critical, 46 High, and 1 Moderate level of CVEs.

Alongside this, the latest firmware also brings improvements and new features for the camera and gallery app of the Galaxy S21 lineup. Such as the Image Clipper feature which lets you easily extract a subject from an image and separate it from its background.

Moving on, the users will also notice improvements and some common bug fixes in the camera and gallery functions. Furthermore, some new elements are also added with the firmware such as optical image stabilization, faster image capturing in Photo mode, bug fixes related to Night mode, and sharpness increment.

Not only this, but the latest update also mentions upgrades for several stock applications including Galaxy Wearables, Samsung Global Goals, Samsung Kids, PENUP, Samsung Internet, Samsung Health, Samsung Memeber, Samsung Pay, Calculator, Voice recorder, and more.
