T-Mobile began to release new software updates to Samsung Galaxy S21 series devices in the United States. Just like the international variants, the Galaxy S21 model based on Snapdragon 888 also received the May 2021 security patch.
In addition to the security update in May 2021, this new Galaxy S21 software update also improves the performance of “Camera” and “Quick Sharing”. In addition, it has enhanced system functions and fixed some bugs to provide a better overall user experience.
It is worth mentioning that this is an important firmware update for the US Galaxy S21 device because it can fix Qualcomm’s 5G modem vulnerability. However, this update is being rolled out in phases to the Galaxy S21 flagship store in the United States, which is dominated by T-Mobile.
In the last week of April, the Galaxy S21 became Samsung’s first smartphone to be protected by the May 2021 security patch. After its first launch in Europe, OEMs will deliver it to more markets, such as India, the United States (unlocked), etc.
