Samsung has now started rolling out a new software update for the Galaxy S22 series devices, which installs the latest June 2023 Android security patch. The firmware is currently rolling out in Europe and will be available to more market users in the coming days.
As per the details, the June 2023 security update for Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra has arrived with One UI build version S901BXXU5CWEA, S906BXXU5CWEA, and S908BXXU5CWEA respectively and it further carries a package of around 333.62MB.
To be mentioned, the June 2o23 security patch rollout was initiated with Galaxy Z Fold 4 and it further expands for Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy A23, Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52s, and the Galaxy Tab Active 3. However, dozens of devices are in the queue to obtain the patch in the future.
The June 2023 update will optimize the performance of the Galaxy S22 lineup devices and provide increased security for the system, ensuring that confidential data and sensitive information remain safe and secure. It will also improve the core mechanism for more relevant interpretation.
Moving on, the firmware also offers improved protection against harmful threats, viruses, and other safety-related assaults and helps to fix some common exploits and glitches, that are discovered in the system. In addition, the patch also resolves a total of 53 vulnerabilities from Google and Samsung.
