Samsung Galaxy S22 users can now install October 2022 security update at Verizon US

Samsung Galaxy S22 series owners are testing the One UI 5.0 beta in some countries and now, a new firmware waiting for installation. Recently, Samsung started releasing the all-new October 2022 security patch update for the Verizon-locked Galaxy S22 devices.


The latest information suggests that the October 2022 security patch update is rolling out in the United States and currently it’s limited to the Verizon-locked Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Users can identify the October 2022 update with the firmware versions mentioned below.

  • Galaxy S22 – S901USQS2AVI1
  • Galaxy S22+ – S906USQS2AVI1
  • Galaxy S22 Ultra – S908USQS2AVI1
