Following the Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra, the Galaxy S22 has also visited the Geekbench, running Android 15 and One UI 7. This development hints that the firm is testing device performance on the upcoming software.

Going toward the details, the Galaxy S22 with Android 15-based One UI 7 software has scored 1219 single-core score and 2802 multi-core score on Geekbench. Also, it’s an early build and we could see more improved performance of the device.

Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy S22’s appearance on Geekbench with Android 15 and One UI 7 suggests that the company is actively working on the next major update for its flagship series and its launch could be imminent.

Based on Android 15 the One UI 7 update is expected to bring several new features and enhancements, including a One UI 6 Watch-inspired UI, vertical app drawer, better battery performance, and new AI-powered functionalities.

Samsung is expected to announce One UI 7 at the Samsung Developer Conference, in October with the rollout expected later that month. Accordingly, the beta program of the software might start next month.

The rollout of One UI 7 will likely start with the newest flagship smartphones, such as the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Z Fold 6, followed by a broader rollout to other eligible devices.
