Samsung has updated several Galaxy devices to the May 2021 security patch and still releases them to the rest of the devices. In addition, since last night, the company will also roll out the June 2021 security patch to the Galaxy S21 series, followed by the Galaxy Z Flip 5G.

Now, the company’s two latest smartwatches are starting to get new firmware updates in South Korea. This update comes with version numbers: R840XXU1BUE3 and R820XXU1DUE3 for Galaxy Watch 3 and Watch Active 2. If you use changelog, it will enhance the automatic walking/running icon and improve the “inactive time alert” icon.

How to check for updates:

  • Open Galaxy Wearable app.
  • Tap on Home 
  • Then head to Watches software update.
  • Go to Download and install.
  • Hit Install now if an update appears.
