Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 gets Portrait mode support for pets photography with October 2021 update

Back in August 2021, Samsung unveiled its second generation clamshell foldable screen smartphone, Galaxy Z Flip 3. Recently, the company rolled out new software updates for foldable phones, bringing newer security patches and enabling new features for pet lovers.

As per the information, the new update for Galaxy Z Flip 3 installs the latest October 2021 security patch for better system security. In addition, this version also enables the Portrait Mode of the system camera function to capture images of pets (cats and dogs).

Users can idenity this update via PDA firmware version F711BXXU2AUJ7, and the update is currently rolling out in phases to random consumers. Talking about these changes, the company claims that portrait mode is implemented in the front and rear cameras of the smartphone.

Previously, Samsung published the October 2021 security bulletin, which suggests the update brings fixes for dozens of threats including CVEs and SVEs. In addition to the security improvements, this update optimizes the overall system software for a better user experience.
