Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 grabs One UI 4.1 update along with March 2022 security patch

Samsung has recently revealed the One UI 4.1 update arrival for various Galaxy devices upgraded to Android 12-based One UI 4.0. While several Galaxy phones and tablets will be getting the new One UI 4.1 variant, Samsung has started the rollout with Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3.

As per the news, Samsung is releasing the One UI 4.1 update alongside March 2022 security patch to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 users in South Korea and Europe. The update changelog is hefty as it mentions a slew of new features and improvements.

The latest update comes with the Software versions F926NKSU1CVC5 for Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 update can be identified via F711NKSU2CVC5 | F711BXXU2CVC5.

Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3: One UI 4.1

New One UI 4.1 comes with new camera features that are inspired by the Galaxy S22 series. As confirmed in the official newsroom post, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 models are getting new camera tools including night portrait functions, pet recognition, lighting position editing functions, and improved Director’s View.

To be mentioned the One UI 4.1 includes telephoto portrait video mode for the Galaxy Z Fold 3, while the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is not compatible. Furthermore, Google Duo Live Sharing, Object Eraser with Shadow & Reflection Eraser, improved Health app, and Grammarly integration with Samsung Keyboard, are also One UI 4.1 goodies.

Yet, the company is initially rolling out the One UI 4.1 update to a limited number of Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 consumers, we can expect a wide rollout very soon. Well, there’s good news for the Galaxy S21 phones too as they are also receiving the One UI 4.1 update, starting from Canada.
