Galaxy Z Fold 3 One UI 4.1.1:

Samsung has brought a bunch of new features for Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphones alongside the Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 update and the most noticeable among them is easier Multitasking.

Taskbar:

The taskbar is the most important feature that this major OS update brings to foldable phones. It allows you to manage your favorite apps, work, switch between them, open split screen, and more.

You can customize your taskbar with your favorite apps and tap seamlessly and speedily between active sessions. The taskbar also shows your two most recently used applications, so you can easily pick up where you left off. You can even add app pair for more convenience.

Split Screen View:

You can use up to three apps at the same time in Split Screen View, the taskbar can be temporarily hidden for a more immersive screen view, notifications can be dragged straight into a split screen and all apps can be viewed in a grid-style layout to name a few of the changes users can expect.

You now have a new feature called “Swipe to open app in Split-Screen”. This feature lets you swipe from the left, right, or bottom of the screen with two fingers to open up a new application in a split screen.

Pop-overs:

You can peek right through your pop-overs by touching and holding the screen around them. This will turn pop-overs temporarily transparent so that you can see the rest of the app behind them. They appear again as soon as you lift your finger.
