[Update: Z Flip and A10 too] Samsung January 2023 security patch is now available for the Galaxy Note 10 devices

Samsung has now started updating more Galaxy smartphones including Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy A10. The Galaxy Z Flip/5G users in Europe are getting this update with software version F700FXXSAIVL3/F707BXXS7IVL1. The update will reach more regions in the coming days.

About the Galaxy A10, the January 2023 update is now live in South American markets with software version A105MUBS8CVL1. The January 2023 security patch fixes vulnerabilities related to Secure Folder, NFC, and WifiService.

The year 2022 ended and we are in 2023 so is Samsung! The company has now started rolling out the January 2023 security patch for the Galaxy Note 10 series. The Note 10 and Note 10+ have become the first devices to get the January 2023 security update.

The update is currently available in European countries with software versions N970FXXS8HVL3 and N975FXXS8HVL3 for the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ respectively. You can expect the wider rollout in a few days.

Samsung hasn’t officially detailed what’s inside the January 2023 security patch. You can still check for the software update on your Galaxy Note 10 unit by heading into the device Settings, tapping on the Software update menu, and going for the Download and install option.

About the Galaxy Note 10 series, the duo launched with Android 9 Pie back in 2019. These devices have already received 3 major Android OS upgrades including Android 10, Android 11, and Android 12.
