More recently, Samsung released the November 2021 security patch details, which included several bugs and issue fixes for Galaxy devices. Apart from the security bulletin, the OEM also shared its revised software update rollout plan, better known as the Scope page.

There is no doubt that the South Korean technology giant has several smartphone product lineups, including the Galaxy S, Note, Z, A, and M as well as different software support offerings —monthly, quarterly, and biannual. Within a month, Samsung provided millions of new software updates, such as security patches and Android + One UI upgrades.

In early 2021, Samsung promised four years of regular security updates for all Galaxy devices launched in 2019/later. However, the company will only provide two new updates in the last/fourth year and will discontinue official support. You can see the revised Samsung software updates plan for Galaxy devices below.
