The Galaxy S21 One UI 4.0 Beta 3 build is now available in more regions, which was initially available in the Korean market.

One UI 4.0 Beta 3 brings several fixes

The Galaxy S21 devices are now receiving the One UI 4 Beta 3 update with fixes for several bugs and the September 2021 security patch.

The latest November 2021 security patch comes with the software versions – G991NKSU3ZUJB, G996NKSU3ZUJB, and G998NKSU3ZUJB for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra respectively.

Check the complete changelog below:

  • Fixed an issue where only some menus were partially untranslated right after the porta update
  • Google AOSP reflected (Google final release was reflected)
  • Overscroll effect changed from existing glow to stretch form (Android 12 changed)
  • Voice command in the camera Misrecognition improvement
  • Pet lighting effect applied
  • Color theme function stabilization
  • Keyboard shortcut issue fixed
  • Calling/texting on other devices fixed
  • Bixby not being called on the lock screen
  • Fixed system UI forced shutdown

The Galaxy S21 devices are going to receive the One UI 4 Beta 3 update very soon.

Recently, well-known Samsung insider Ice Universe revealed that the One UI development team did several optimizations on the widget animation. As result, the Galaxy S21 devices are likely to gain these new widget animations alongside the next update, One UI 4 Beta 3.

Notably, with the One UI 4 Beta 2, Samsung combined various tweaks in the entire user interface as well as functionalities. However, the stable Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update will surely bring a much better overall user experience and useful features later this year.

It’s worth mentioning that the stable Android 12 update is confirmed to arrive for the Samsung smartphone users later this year. In the meantime, the company is currently working on the addition of new features as well as improving and optimizing the overall performance.

To date, the Korean phone maker has released two One UI 4 Beta updates to the Galaxy S21 series smartphone users in the US, South Korea, and Germany. At the same time, the company has recently started the Android 12-based One UI 4 Beta program for the latest Galaxy S flagships in India and the UK.
