Samsung Galaxy A51 is getting the January 2022 security patch. According to Sammobile, the update is currently rolling out in Malaysia and Russia. The latest software update for the Galaxy A51 comes with software version A515FXXU5EUL3.

Samsung hasn’t yet revealed the information about the fixes vulnerabilities in the new update. In meantime, you can check for the latest software update by heading into the device Settings > Software update and tapping on Download and install option.

Samsung has started releasing the May 2021 security update with the top flagship Galaxy devices, the company has seeded this update for its top flagships including Galaxy S21,  the Galaxy S20, and Note 20 phones.

The Korean tech giant is now making its move towards mid-range devices as the company is offering May 2021 security update to the Galaxy A51 devices. The new update can be identified with version number A515FXXU4EUD7.

The Galaxy A51 phones have been accurately receiving new software updates before schedule. These smartphones have already received the latest Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update that comes with series of new changes over the original One UI 3.0.

However, Samsung has now yet released the security bulletin for the month of May and we expect it in few days. So, we currently have no idea about what vulnerabilities are fixed by this latest security patch.

As of now, this firmware is been spotted in Russia and will soon expand to the other regions as well. Meanwhile, the users can also check for the update manually by going through Settings > Software updates > then clicking on Download and install.
