Update 8, January 28 (01:54 ET) ― Stable One UI 4.0 – Unlocked units
Unlocked units getting Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update in the US
After the locked units, Samsung has now started rolling out the stable One UI 4.0 update to the unlocked units of the Galaxy Fold and the Galaxy Z Flip in the US. Alongside several new features, the update also brings the January 2022 security patch.

Galaxy Z Flip gets November 2021 security patch in the US
The locked Samsung Galaxy Z Flip users are getting the latest software update in the US. It comes with software version F700USQU1ATAQ, which is currently rolling out on Sprint’s network.

After the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Samsung has now started rolling out the December 2021 security patch to the Galaxy Z Flip 4G variant.
The software version of the latest update for the Galaxy Z Flip comes is F700FXXS8EUI2, and it is currently available in Austria and Switzerland.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G has now started getting the December 2021 security patch update in several European countries. The update comes with software version F707BXXS6EUK1.

November 2021 security patch – Galaxy Fold 5G and Flip 5G
Samsung has started rolling out the November 2021 security patch to the Galaxy Fold 5G and Galaxy Flip 5G.
The software versions are F707BXXS5EUJ2 and F907BXXS6FUJB for the Galaxy Flip 5G and Fold 5G respectively. The update is currently rolling out in European countries.
The November 2021 security patch fixes many privacy and security-related vulnerabilities. It includes fixes from Google for 3 critical vulnerabilities, 20 high-risk vulnerabilities, and 2 moderate-risk vulnerabilities.
The update also includes fixes for 13 vulnerabilities – 1 high-risk, 1 critical vulnerability, and 2 moderate-risk vulnerabilities found in Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
According to Samsung, Google fixed 15 vulnerabilities with its November 2021 security patch that were already included in Samsung’s October 2021 update.
