JUNE 02, 2021

Samsung started to release the June 2021 security patch to South Korea’s Galaxy S21 series devices. Later, the company provided this new One UI patch for Galaxy Z Flip 5G phones in some regions, and now it’s the turn of Galaxy Z Flip LTE to get the same treatment.

According to the information, as Galaxy Z Flip LTE users begin to snap up purchases in certain smartphone markets such as Israel, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, and Taiwan, the South Korean tech giant is now expanding the June 2021 security patch to more compatible galaxies.

If you have a Galaxy Z Flip device, the new update has arrived at your firmware version F700FXXS5DUE1. However, the company has not disclosed the June 2021 security bulletin, which details the CVE and several new fixes for the Galaxy device software system.

In the past few months, Samsung upgraded Galaxy Z Flip devices to One UI 3.0 based on Android 11 and subsequently upgraded One UI version 3.1. Despite this, the device is still eligible for Android 12-based One UI 4.x updates, but in the near future, it will receive incremental updates in the form of One UI 3.5.
