Verizon rolling out July 2022 Android security patch update for Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphone users in the United States. On the other side, the devices have already started receiving the latest August 2022 security monthly patch in Europe.

Samsung July 2022 security update comes with enhanced system security and stability for your device and it can be identified via the firmware version G991USQU5CVG9G996USQU5CVG9, and G998USQU5CVG9 for Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra respectively.

This latest security patch works in enhancing the stability and security of your phone, and it also lets users use their device with a boosted and better performance than before. Further, the update brings fixes for several bugs and issues.

Carrier-Locked Samsung Galaxy S21 receives May 2022 security update in US

As per the security patch details, Samsung’s July 2022 security update mentions fixes for over 50 vulnerabilities including CVEs and SVEs from Samsung and Google. Other than these their is nothing that the official changelog mention for this update.

  • Scroll down and tap on the Software Update menu.
  • Here search for the latest update.
  • Once you see update on your screen.
  • Hit the Download button and Install it.

We are at the end of the month of July and so far every eligible device has received the July month patch in almost every region or who so ever is left out the South Korean tech giant will seed them soon with the patch. On the other hand, the company has already started its August month rollout plan with the S series devices in Europe.
