Huawei is sending a new update for the Huawei Mate 30 series that installs September 2020 security patch for a better security experience. Recently, a similar update has rolled out for Mate 30 Pro users in Europe with EMUI 10.1.0.262 version.
Previously, Huawei has published a rollout plan for EMUI 11 and MagicUI 4 beta that shows that the Huawei Mate 30 series will receive a stable EMUI 11 software update in early November 2020 (planned).

UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS:
Through Setting:
- Open Settings on your device
- Click on system & updates
- Click on the software update
- Check for updates
- Click on the download button
- Install updates
- After completion of the installation, the reboot option appears onscreen
- Reboot the device
Through Support app:
- Open the Support app on your device
- If not installed, download it from the play store
- Open service tab
- Tap on update
- Check for updates
- Click on the download button
