Sprint and T-Mobile rolling out a new software update with camera autofocus fix for the Galaxy S20

Samsung recently rolled out a new software update for the international variant of the Galaxy S20 series. The latest software update for the Galaxy S20 series is now available in the US.

The US carriers, T-Mobile and Sprint, are now rolling out the camera software update for the Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra. It has now confirmed that the autofocus camera issue has fixed. It comes with the May 2020 security patch.

As per the report, the update adds the Close-up Zoom option (only for the S20 Ultra), which can be useful while taking closer images.

For international users, the company has also improved the performance of the fingerprint recognition and sound quality of the speaker. Based on the Galaxy S20 users report on Reddit, the device can now take better image quality using Night mode.

To update the version on your device, you will need to have a minimum battery charge of 20%. You may be prompted to update when it’s available, otherwise, system updates can be done over a Wi-Fi connection or with the Software Upgrade Assistant.

To manually check for updates, navigate to Settings > System update. If your system is up-to-date, you don’t need to do anything further. Otherwise, tap Download and install to update your phone.
