T-Mobile releases big Galaxy A52 August 2022 update in the US

T-Mobile-locked Samsung Galaxy A52 smartphone users have begun collecting the August 2022 Android security patch update in the United States.

Although the official changelog for the update doesn’t mention anything except for minor improvements, the 1090MB update package size suggests it brings some noticeable changes to the device.

These changes might be related to various stock app upgrades that the company is commonly providing alongside the August 2022 security update widely. Also, it is possible that the company has improved features or fixed some issues.

Other than these, the latest update brings improvements to the security of your phone’s system to keep your private files safe and secure on your phone. Simultaneously, the enhanced system stability ensures that you won’t face any issues like app crashing or lagging.

Samsung’s August 2022 security patch details, on the other hand, mention over 50 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities, which correspond to Samsung DeX, Bluetooth connectivity, Wi-Fi service, DesktopSystemUI, Samsung Dialer, and many more.

According to the information, T-Mobile is releasing the Galaxy A52 5G August 2022 security update with the One UI build version A526USQU6CVG5 in the US. You can download it by heading to Settings and then entering the Software update section.

Galaxy A52 One UI 5.0:

Samsung has released 2 Android 13-based One UI 5.0 beta updates for the Galaxy S22 series smartphones so far. These beta versions suggest that the company is bringing a lot of new features and a hand full of customization options and improvements for the Galaxy users.

Although the Galaxy A52 is not eligible for the One UI 5.0 beta upgrade, Samsung will roll out the stable version for the device, after the public release which could happen October 17 or 19. It’s worth mentioning that the Galaxy A52 is also compatible with the next major Android upgrade – Android 14/One UI 6.
