Unlocked and Sprint Galaxy S20 users are getting April 2020 security patch in the US

Samsung Galaxy S20 series users are getting a new software update with the latest security patch in the US. It is available for the unlocked and Sprint (locked) Galaxy S20 series users in the country. The update comes with the April 2020 security patch.

In the April 2020 security patch, Samsung fixed 14 critical vulnerabilities in the Android OS, along with several high and moderate-risk vulnerabilities. You can read about the complete changelog here.

The software version of this update is G988U1UEU1ATCT, G986U1UEU1ATCT, and G981U1UEU1ATCT — for the unlocked Galaxy S20 Ultra, S20+, and S20 respectively.

The software version of this update is G988USQU1ATCU, G986USQU1ATCU, and G981USQU1ATCU — for the locked Galaxy S20 Ultra, S20+, and S20 respectively.

Samsung recently rolled out a software update with camera improvements for the international Galaxy S20 series users. It should be available in other regions in the coming days.
