US Verizon brings April 2024 update to Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, Flip 4 in the US

After the turn of several other Galaxy devices, Verizon has now started to seed Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 devices with the April 2024 security update in the US. However, the remaining region users will also receive enhancements and fixes of the patch soon.

As per the details, the April 2024 update for Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 has arrived with the build version F936USQS4EXD1 and F721USQS4EXD1 respectively in the US. It is also recommended to maintain sufficient storage for uninterrupted downloading.

Being a regular monthly security patch, this update will work on the core functioning of your foldable phones and provide improved protection against threats, viruses, and other safety-related assaults. It will also add a boost to the overall performance of your device.

Moving on, Samsung’s April 2024 SMR release also mends over 40 vulnerability exposures from Google and Samsung including o1 critical and 26 high-level CVEs from Android OS and SVE items related to input validation, access control, and more from One UI.

Hence, if you want to enjoy a hassle-free and optimized interpretation, then install the latest patch now. To do so, simply open the Settings app, now scroll down, and tap on Software Update. Here, press the Download & Install key and follow the on-screen instructions.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 One UI 6.1 Update 

Samsung has seeded dozens of Galaxy devices with One UI 6.1 update and the fourth-generation foldables are next in line to grab this most awaited software. However, Samsung has not yet confirmed the exact release date of One UI 6.1 for Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4, but we can expect to get it later this week.
