The Chinese tech maker is pushing a new MIUI update for the Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphones which adds various tweaks to the camera and optimizes the performance of the high-end gadget. Notably, the update didn’t mention any particular patch but it may improve the safety of the system.
Going toward the details, the consumers of Xiaomi 13 Pro are getting the camera tweaks with the MIUI build version V14.0.27.0.TMBCNXM. Simultaneously, the latest update carries a giant software package of 6.7GB. Thus, it’s recommended to opt for a stable Wi-Fi connection over regular mobile data.
As per the changelog, the latest update will take the photography experience to a new level as the Xiaomi 13 Pro owners can now take better pictures and videos, as well as benefit from a more secure and stable system. Therefore, the update has added new LEICA SEPIA and LEICA BLUE filters to the camera app.
The LEICA SEPIA filter adds a warm, sepia tone to photos, giving them an aged, classic look. While the LEICA BLUE filter adds a cool blue tone to photos, creating a more modern, contemporary feel. Both of these filters can be used to create stunning shots that are perfect for sharing on social media.
The update also includes several other enhancements, such as streamlined controls, improved visuals, and enhanced camera experience. In addition, the short video, vlogs, and dual video features are now combined into the Short film, which will offer a more satisfactory user experience.

FYI, Xiaomi has also released the Android 14 developer preview beta for the Xiaomi 13 Pro models, and the device could be the first to obtain the features and optimizations of the upcoming operating system.
Accordingly, these camera improvements are currently available in China and the firm may expand the reach of the update to Global models as well. Hence, to enjoy these minimalistic tweaks in the camera department users must upgrade the Xiaomi 13 Pro to the latest version.
To access the latest MIUI update, visit the Settings app of your handy gadget and tap on the About phone option. From this screen, click on the System and Updates menu and press the MIUI version. Now, let the system fetch a new version for you, once done hit the Download & Install tab.
