Xiaomi has kicked off its February 2022 security update for Redmi 9T and Redmi Note 9T in different regions. The update is circulating among the users through the OTA (over the air) medium. Since it is an OTA update, the users might face some delay in looking up the security patch in their device.

The Redmi 9T is approaching for the February 2022 security update from Indonesia. Whereas, Redmi Note 9T users that are accessing the fresh security patch are from Russia. These patches are landing over the surface of MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 program. Let’s check out the version of these patches for the respective country.

Redmi 9T users in Indonesia are able to identify the security patch with build number V12.5.7.0.RJQIDXM. Further, it holds an update size of 2.8GB. On the other hand, Redmi Note 9T users residing in Russia are receiving the patch as V12.5.3.0.RJERUXM. Here, the patch carries 2.6 Gigabytes.
