Xiaomi has started to rollout a new software update for Redmi Note 8 Pro users in Europe. This update improves system security by installing the latest Android patch released in August 2021.

Last month, the device received an Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 update for Indian variants. It comes with a bunch of new features and optimizations to enhance the device performance.
