Xiaomi is rolling out a new update for the Redmi 9 Power devices, which installs the latest MIUI 14 software uprooted with the Android 12 operating system. The latest update brings a host of new features and improvements and is more swift and reliable as compared to the previous version.
The Redmi 9 Power was introduced in December 2020 and it comes out of the box with Android 10-based MIUI 12 software. Further, it received 2 Android and 2 MIUI updates in the form of MIUI 12.5 and MIUI 13. Now, with the MIUI 14 update release, the device received the 3rd and last major update.

MIUI 14 update for Redmi 9 Power smartphones is currently rolling out in India and it has arrived with the MIUI build version V14.0.2.0.SJQINXM and an installation package of 640MB. The latest software version also brings April 2023 Android security patch for improved system security and stability.
Moving on, the latest software version will obtain an improved system architecture to boost the performance of both pre-installed and third-party apps while saving power. The new super icons and big folders are added to provide your device with a new look and feel along with a reimagined user interface.
Furthermore, with MIUI 14, more than 30 scenes support end-to-end privacy with no data stored in the cloud and all actions performed locally on the device. You will also notice changes in the settings menu like bold text and a clean look. It also adds various enhancements to Family Services.
Notably, the update is currently released for the Mi Pilot testers of Redmi 9 Power in India, and once after ensuring stability. The update will be available for users widely.
