Xiaomi rolling out MIUI 14 for Redmi 9T

After the initial rollout in the Global market, Xiaomi is now rolling out the MIUI 14 major software update for the Redmi 9T smartphone users in more regions. This new version of MIUI is more swift and reliable as compared to MIUI 13 and it too uses less memory for a better experience.

According to the information, the Redmi 9T device owners are now collecting the MIUI 14 update in Indonesia and Taiwan with build version V14.0.2.0.SJQIDXM and V14.0.2.0.SJQTWXM respectively. In addition, the owners of the device will need to install a massive package of around 3.2 Gigabytes.

Moving on, the MIUI 14 update is developed with the Android 12 operating system for Redmi 9T, which means the device will not receive the functionalities of Android 13. But the latest custom skin is enough to offer you a seamless user experience as it incorporates a bundle of significant features and optimizations.

The list of MIUI 14 offerings includes bigger folders and tabular icons to make the task easy and efficient, reimagined home screen for a clean and shuttle look. Advanced search in setting for improved searching experience, connected device for easy sharing, on-device privacy for improved safety, and much more.

In addition, the changelog of the update also mentions the April 2023 Android security patch, which will improve the core mechanism of the system and make the phone more safe and secure. Therefore, the update is rolling out in Indonesia and Turkey, which will expand to more users in the coming days or weeks.

How to update

If you want to install the latest software on your device immediately, then visit the Settings of the phone, tap on the System Update menu, and press the MIUI Version. Now, let the system fetch a new version for you, once done, hit the Download and Install button.
