OnePlus Pad is receiving a new OxygenOS 13.1 software update that brings the Cellular Data Sharing capability on board. In addition, the respective Android tablet consumers will obtain Multi-Screen connection features with system stability and performance improvements.
So far, the Chinese OEM introduced its first-ever tablet with iconic characteristics. One of them was the Cellular data-sharing feature which is now officially making its way to the OnePlus Pad with the new OxygenOS 13.1 firmware update. It is a gradual rollout and will be available globally in the upcoming days.
Talking about the feature, Cellular data-sharing enables users to log in to the same account as their OnePlus phone and share mobile communication capabilities within a 10-meter distance. Eventually, the device owners can surf the internet, answer phone calls, send or receive text messages, and more on the tablet by depending on the mobile data network.
In simple words, the functionality will eliminate the requirement of setting up a mobile hotspot. Besides, it will offer a more convenient and interoperable experience. Apart from this tweak, the latest build accompanies the Auto Connect and Relay Playing features as well.
Auto Connect – Helps to establish an immediate connection between the OnePlus Pad and a paired phone when placed nearby. It provides a seamless information transfer across multiple devices.
Relay Playing – Again, this feature lets you switch between devices effortlessly. You can continue to manage and operate your tasks from one device to another without putting any halt.
