It seems like the company may also give 3 major Android OS updates to some of Galaxy A-series smartphones. According to the customer support manager in the South Korean community, Samsung may give up to three Android OS version updates to the high-end Galaxy A-series smartphones like the Galaxy A71 5G, and more.

The company is still checking the hardware compatibility of other devices, which is launched with Android 9 or later versions. Samsung is reviewing other flagship A-series and tablets launched after the Galaxy S10 series.

This is fantastic news and something everyone wanted the company to do. For the longest time, most Samsung Galaxy flagship devices get only two major OS updates and two years of regular monthly security patches, and quarterly patches in the third year.

Anyway, we will have to wait for the official decision. Do you want 3 major Android OS on your Samsung device? Let us know in the comments below.
