A well-known source recently shared specific details about the display size, the battery’s power, the device’s thickness, and when Samsung plans to release its new folding phone, currently known as the Galaxy Z TriFold.

Just last month, Samsung officially showed off their very first smartphone that folds into three sections. However, the company did not tell anyone the phone’s official name, its features, when it would be available to buy, or how much it would cost. The large tech company simply showed the phone behind glass, which prevented people from learning more about it.

This new model is expected to be called the Galaxy Z TriFold. Even though it was kept secret, a few people were able to look at it closely from different angles, which helped uncover some details. Still, there were many things we didn’t know until now. Thankfully, we have received fresh information about the device, including how big its screens are, the capacity of its battery, how thick it will be, and its launch date.

On the social media site X, a popular leaker named @UniverseIce, referring to an article, announced that the Galaxy Z TriFold will have a 6.5-inch screen on the outside and a much larger 10-inch screen on the inside. It will also include a strong 5,600mAh battery.

The leaker stated that the device will measure 4.2mm in thickness when it is closed (folded) and 14mm when it is fully open (unfolded). Finally, the source claimed that Samsung is planning to launch this triple-folding phone on December 5, 2025.
