These new phones will all be equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, of which the Xiaomi Mi 12S Pro will also be released which may be a Dimensity 9000 version.
Moreover, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform is based on TSMC’s 4nm process. The maximum frequency of the CPU’s Cortex-X2 super core has been increased to 3.2GHz, and while the performance is improved, the power consumption of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is also very high. With great optimization, the overall power consumption is reduced by about 15% compared to the Snapdragon 8.
At the same time, realme is also expected to release the realme GT2 Master Explorer Edition, which is also equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform, in July.
