New Xiaomi device with Snapdragon 8+Gen 1 SoC coming next month

Combined with the blogger’s previous revelations, Xiaomi will hold a press conference at the beginning of the month. It is expected to release Xiaomi Mi 12S, Xiaomi Mi 12S Pro, and Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra. These new phones will all be equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, of which the Xiaomi Mi 12S Pro will also be released which may be a Dimensity 9000 version.

Moreover, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform is based on TSMC’s 4nm process. The maximum frequency of the CPU’s Cortex-X2 super core has been increased to 3.2GHz, and while the performance is improved, the power consumption of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is also very high. With great optimization, the overall power consumption is reduced by about 15% compared to the Snapdragon 8.

At the same time, realme is also expected to release the realme GT2 Master Explorer Edition, which is also equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform, in July. According to the blogger’s previous news, the realme GT2 Master Explorer Edition screen uses a 6.7-inch BOE Blue Diamond flexible straight screen, which is centered and digging and while using 100W fast charge + 5000mAh dual-cell large battery, the thickness of the whole device is controlled to 8.2mm.
