Posted on

The Huawei Watch GT 3 series smartwatch is scheduled to launch at the APAC Autumn launch event on October 28, 2021. This is quite a surprise confirmation, as this will be the first time that the company will unveil the watch for the first time in the global market. Along with the Watch GT3 series, the company will also introduce the Nova 9 and MateBook 14S to the consumers.

Appearance:

Along with the declaration, the company also gave us a sneak peek of the upcoming Huawei Watch GT 3 series. As per the renders, the frame of the watch is similar to that of the Watch GT 2 46mm model. However, it now has a round dial on the right side with a physical flat button below it, similar to the Watch 3 series.

There are also various sensors on the backside of the device, which you can see below. However, the rest of the design remains a secret for the time being.

Huawei Watch GT 3 and Watch GT Runner:

A report reveals that the Huawei Watch GT 3 and Watch GT 2 has already completed Bluetooth and 3C Certification. Surprisingly, there are some extra insights that we need to know on this matter to reach a better conclusion.

The Watch GT 3 (JPT-B19) is not the only model that may come at the event, as there’s also a model Watch GT Runner (RUN-B19) that has passed the certification process. This device was also rumored to launch alongside the Watch GT 3 series and it seems the launch is quite imminent.

The JPT-B19 model has also been submitted to the 3C certification process, which reveals to support 10W fast charging power. However, we’ll have to wait to get more insights on this matter.

The previous report suggests that the Chinese device manufacturer will focus on a more sports-focused approach with these smart wearables. Furthermore, it could have pre-installed the HarmonyOS operating system for ease of user experience.
